What would be a nice lanyard for Orange Skyline fixed blade?

Whatever you choose, make sure it's small because getting a lanyard through there is nearly impossible.

Here are a few lanyards I tied for myself. The possibilities are vast with what you can do. The Skyline shown has 550 cord with all 7 layers passed through the hole. The cord has to be cut at an angle and singed for it to pass through. Keep in mind that a lanyard will have to be tied to a Skyline and cut off if you wanted it removed.

Thanks all! For your info. Thanks Dave I needed to know what size would fit thru the hole and you have answered that for me!

If you are going to use it as a neck knife with the kydex here is how my bk11 is set up. I know it's not a Kershaw, but it is a great neck knife.

The lanyard hole on the Skyline fixed-blade is the same size as the folder. You can put un-gutted 550 cord through it, but you'll have to tie it on rather than looping through. Did you make that Kydex sheath yourself? Looks pretty nice.

Here's my fixed-blade Skyline with a pretty sloppy lanyard (took about 30 seconds) I tied from a short length of un-gutted 550 cord:

No I did not make the sheath I bought it from BladeHQ a sponsor dealer here at the Blade Forums.

I was playing with some paracord a whiel back and made these:

This one didn't come out as good as I had wanted but I took the rattle off a dead rattler I found on the road and made this one that now hanging off one of my Busse's

You can take a piece of the nylon that comes out of the cord and pass it through the knife hole, then through your lanyard then back through your knife hole and you can pull it through. Done it many times works well. I do gut the cord for lanyards most of the time.

Does the rattle still have its rattle?

Yep, still there. I made one for a friend after he saw mine. His actually came out better (trial and error and all). Unfortunately, after repeated shoving into his pocket, it broke. SO I guess it's just good for decoration. :)

That rattlesnake lanyard is so cool! For knives with a small lanyard hole I use these quick disconnect attachments.
