I make custom knives, but mostly larger weapons like swords and axes. I build weapons that are functional, not the showy junk most company's offer. I try to achieve perfection in every project I undertake. But in this persuit, I have come across a serious problem. I can't find large enough screw-type rivits that are suitable for handle scales on large heavey weapons. If anyone knows where I can purchase them, please help me out!

I'd suggest a couple of alternatives that are easier and cheaper.
Drill and tap the blade, or, drill and use standoffs (inserts that are already tapped) and use one of the many screws available. Drill and countersink the handles and attach them with the screws.
I attached a picture showing what I mean.

Thanks for the replies, but, I'm looking for large rivits. Kit's idea is good. But, I wouldn't be able to get enough turns on the threads for the amount of torque I want to achieve.
Hopfully, someone out there knows what I'm looking for. Let's see...
At least a 1/2" head, at least 1 1/4" total length when together, and about a 1/4" shaft.

Why don't you make your own. Get some 1/4" threaded rod, some brass round stock, of the diameter you want. Just cut drill and tap. ;)

From an engineer standpoint, all you need is 3 threads worth for all the strength you'll ever need.
10x32 screw = 32 threads per inch, 16 per 1/2", 8 per 1/4" and 4 per 1/8". Coming in from each side, that's 4 threads each.
What size stock are you using? From your post, I figured thicker stuff.
Good thing about doing it this way is they are removable. Not trying to change your mind, just giving you info.
