Looking for Leather Worker on Long Island, NY

I havea custom knife for which I need a sheath. I do not want to send it anywhere. I want to find a local guy on Long Island who would make me a sheath.
Has anyone had any luck with a shoemaker or other kind of leather worker on LI?
