Folks, I have really large hands and need a flipper with a long handle. The three knives I have with the longest handles are the ZT 804 CF(5 oz.), ZT 0452tiblu(5oz) and Benchmade Osborne(5.8 oz.zzzzzzzzzz).
I would like a knife with handles at least as long as these , at around 5". Can you recommend some long handled flippers but maybe a little lighter. No problem with a custom. Thanks.

A flipper with a 5" handle really won't get much lighter than 5oz... that is a really good/amazing weight for a knife of that size. Pretty much any flipper with a 3.75'+ blade will have the handle length you require. Some similar are the Brous Blade Sniper Flipper, 5" handle, 3.75" blade & 5.17oz, Spartan Blade Pallas Flipper, 5" handle, 4.97oz 3.75" blade and Freeman 451 Flipper - 5.1" handle, 5.5oz 3.7" blade. Those are really the only models I can think of off the top of my head with your specifications.

Here's a pic of a CF452 and a Shirogorov 111 for comparison

The Boker or custom Burnley Kwaiken was the first design that came to mind.

My L36L from Andre Thorburn has a 5" handle. That's from the finger guard (flipper tab) to the butt. Not just measuring the length of the knife when closed.
I have L/XL hands and I get an inch of handle sticking out the bottom in a full hammer grip.
Not only that, but it's a Thorburn. One of the best makers of flippers on the planet.

Good luck on your search. That's half the fun!

Ferrum Forge Stinger XL, Real Steel Sea Eagle, and Calavera Cutlery Larger El Patron. All of those are close to 5 inch handles. The Stinger XL and Sea Eagle are light for their size. The El Patron is an awesome, tough flipper. One of my favorites for EDC.

Get yourself a Medford Gigantes. Or a Camillus Cuda Maxx (if you can find one).

If you like the 0452TIBLU, you might consider the 0452CF. It is a little bit lighter than the all-ti version.

Brous hardwire is an option nobody has mentioned, and it clocks in under 5oz too.

Brad Zinker. 5 inch blade, 3.5 ounces (this one in stainless Damascus

^ And it's a button lock, which is a nice alternative to the endless sea of frame locks out there.

If you like and can find one for sale ... was one in black wash just recently up for sale on here ... the ZT 560 has a longer bigger handle ... I believe the handle is right at 5".
