Looking for M1905 Bayonet Crossguard

Hey guys,

I'm working on restoring an M1905 bayonet for a wonderful older gentleman in my church. I have found all the parts needed except the crossguard. I've scoured the internet and cannot find one anywhere.

Do you guys have any idea on where I could purchase just the crossguard for one of these historic bayonets?

Thanks!

Have you tried Numrich, Northridge International, Sarco, Liberty Tree collectors, S & S Firearms...

If all else fails, try the bay.

Hey MK, yeah I've checked all the likely sources. Seems like the only option would be to buy a beat up old bayonet, remove the guard, clean it up, and put it on the one I'm working on. Seems unlikely to come out in a satisfactory way... but maybe it will.
