Hi everybody. I need to have some repair work done on a couple of my knives, like refinishing type work , and am looking for a maker in the DFW area. If anybody can recomend someone I would sure appreciate it.

You might try John Ownby in Plano. I know not whether he does repair work but I purchased a knife from him at the Dallas gun show last year and have been very happy with it. He specializes in high grade flat ground stainless (440c) blades with various handle materials. His E mail is jownby@airmail.net. Hope this helps.
