I've been eyeing the ace clyde which I really like.
The steel 390 and micarta handle all look great; price is where i want it.

However on the specs it seems too small.
3 inch blade on a 4 inch handle. Sigh

Do you guys know of another similar make ? (Not China)

Another vote for the Buck 110 Slim Pro...
It passes the requirments well enough hope for reversible pocket clip... but looks like all my pocket knives in my collection that I just don't carry.

It does look capable.

I found a sprint run coming for the shaman in macarta.
A little bigger than the manix 2, I'm not wild about the color; I'de prefer a od green or red.

So I think that sounds like a solid wait for micarta.
Surprised to find there aren't more choices in micarta.

I wish more companies offered micarta too. Between linen, denim, paper, and canvas, you can get some nice variety of textures. I would guess the manufacturing process is worse/more costly vs G10 or other synthetic handle materials.

And as someone who doesn't spend more then $100 on a knife all that often, aftermarket scales are out of my price range.

Good luck on your search.

I'm almost too the point that if it's not micarta I don't want it.
The problem now is I want very specific colors. Anyone know of anyone who makes custom micarta?

You have sold me on getting that shaman.

gazz98 gazz98 I agree with you 100%.
I have 1 knife over 100$.
Different scales on say the rat1 cost as
Much as the knife does.
