looking for a maker that can supply 6 each, simple survival blades (blade only) similar to the esee 4. I do micarta handles and Kydex, then sell through my sources. Trying to keep price down. 1095 steel, 3/16”, roughly 4” blade, full tang for around $40 each. Any USA makers do this kind of work?

You can find suppliers of knife kits, blades and scales.

I think there is one called Knife Kits.com.

Basic handmade 8-9" full knives start at around a hunski.
If you want hand made, I think something like $60-80 per is closer to what you want. Or you could go smaller, maybe 5"-6".
I go to Jantz for blanks. Their pattern blades are made in US. I think most are around your price range. I think the thickest though is 5/32".

your best bet for usa made only $33 but includes a sheath - the grimalkin - by one of our forum members ;)

don't think you'll find a better deal ; )
you're welcome

I just remembered, there's a dude on etsy that does some Nessmuk type blanks in your price range. He may have other styles.

Jantz has some really nice looking blades available.

I would assume not very high quality steel, but I wouldn't expect high quality steel/heat treat under $250.

Have you done this before with other makers? Do you sell them as your knife or as xyz knife with tacticalant scales?
