Hi guys! As the topic states I’m looking for my Dads knife. He bought it as an 8 year old in 1960 and I didn’t find out about it until last weekend when we where at Smoky Mountain Knife Works. He saw it in a case and said “Well dam” long story short he loaned it to his brother for a Boy Scout camp and it never showed back up.

I have looked all through eBay and I just can’t find it. If anyone knows where I can find it I’m assuming it’s gonna be you guys. I’d like to find one before Father’s Day.

Thanks,
Chris

The knife has a deer a duck and a pheasant on the sheath. I have a picture but I don't know how to post it on the forum.

I'm confused....

So why didn't you buy it at SMKW?

Or are you asking us to find the ACTUAL knife your Dad bought 60 years ago?!???

Use Imgur to upload a pic, then copy and paste the image link using the image button on the forum. Someone will likely post the link describing how to do it better than me.

I think my dad has one of those, sheath is missing and its really beat up. I hope you can find one.

Keep checking Ebay, as well as Google searching. Their are several knife dealers that may end up with what you seek. Good luck!!
(And welcome to the forum. Hopefully you'll stick around even if you can't find your Dad's knife) :)

Thanks Shane, I’ll keep searching. I have a few cool pieces maybe I’ll share them and see what you guys think.

Also what knife dealers are there. My google-fu isn’t all that much. My results are mostly new knives and I don’t know what to look for to find this kind of vintage stuff.

Arizona Custom Knives does a lot of buying and selling. Many people sell their knives on consignment there. You may just get lucky if you keep looking.
(Hopefully I am not violating any rules by linking this site - just trying to help a newcomer out.)

I’ll give them a buzz. Thanks again.
