Looking for my first HI khuk.

I been on these forums for years now and still havent bought a HI khuk yet. I always come at the wrong time for a sweet deal on blems but always come a bit too late :grumpy: Just wondering if anyone here has one that they would let go for $50? Something BAS size would be awesome.
 
I recoemend getting something from the 12" to 18" range, an M43 or AK would be my choice.

My first was a 21" chitlangi and in all honesty as I intended this to be an all purpose blade I now have the privelege of shopping around more for a smaller khuk. The smile hasn't left my face yet.
 
Hey Nismo,
you might think about taking Uncle Bill up on his 25% off deal right now. Instead of getting a used khuk for fifty, you could get a brand new BAS for about 80 bucks. Not a thing wrong with used khuks, but there is something about "deflowering" a new one yourself that is worth the 30 extra bucks to me;) Just a thought. Happy hunting.

Wow, Dan hit that dead on it is the best deal yet. I shouldn't be suprised by Uncle Bill anymore but sometimes I still am and it always puts a smile on my face. Which I am told makes me "light up" . ;)
 
Nismo, you have been lurking here a while. I noticed that instead of, looking for A HI khuk, you realize that it will only be your FIRST HI khuk :D

Well the M-43 arrived, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what the blem was. I thought it might have been the scabbard, but that mark is only in the pic. The real scabbard is in great shape. The only thing I can think of is possibly funky grain lines in the horn. But then I dunno. Anyways another awsome m43 by the Amtrak kami. Now my wood one has a horn sister.

When I was a whole lot younger it would've been nice if my wood had had a horny sister.:D ;) :rolleyes: :o :eek: :footinmou ;)
