Yup, I have 100 bucks to spend on a GEC style knife. I I really like the ez open style. So what I am looking for is advice from the veterans on here about which one to get. It's going to have to last the rest of my time in a front pocket, and I am 20 so it is going to have to be really well built. Thanks guys.

I don't own one, but since you mentioned the EZ open style, I would suggest you the #85. Hopefully others will chime in with pictures :)

I'm partial to the #56 EZ Open Weavers Jack. You would have money left to put towards a nice slipcase for it. A lot of this depends on what you plan to do with your new knife other than cerry it in the front pocket. Good luck.

Hi there jwh, yes your rite I should have been more specific. My plans are to do a little whittling and whatever small cutting chores happen to come my way. I ended up getting this one.

I know its not the best for whittling but I will do my best. And ive always wanted one exactly like it ever since i first saw it. I will end up getting more, especially since ive spent the last .18 hrs looking through all gec models. I like the #12 and the 42. But def plan to buy at least a cew more. Thanks for looking i will post pics of her as soon as she arrives.

Isn't it, I can't wait for it to get here. Yes they had a great selection of them. I would like the same one with a sheepsfoot blade for whittling... Now that would be sweet.

The 85 easy open would be my recommendation as well. I don't think you could go wrong with that one.

You guys sure are correct, I wish there was a dedicated thread just for them.... Do you guys have any?
