My wife is buying me anything I want ($100.00 or less) for our anniversary! I bought her a $100.00 gift certificate to Sephora. I would like a nice small pen knife with sissors. I've seen the Case Peanut, very nice, are there other ones around?

3rd vote for a classic from Victorinox. Especially the silver, or alox ones.

Cheap, but still very high quality.

Edited to add: Victorinox fit and finish is better then Case usually, and the Victorinox stainless steel is better as well.

I've carried a Victorinox Classic for over 20 years (well, lost two, but had the current one for ~ 10 years). It's a great little pen knife. Their newest model is slightly thicker, but it comes with a USB mini-drive! Depending on my job, this might be a handy little gadget.

I picked up a neat model called the Rambler, same as the Classic but comes with a very handy mini magnetized Phillips screwdiver/bottle opener blade. Very cool, and a godsend on keychain. I wish it came with scale options though, stag scales would be awesome!!

AG Russell has one, I believe by Victronix, in sterling with a panther on the scales.

Another vote for the Victornox. I got mine at Target for around 6-7 dollars. I keep it in my car for splinters, hangnails and general fingernail maintenance. It is a very nice little knife.

The Victorinox Classic has been suggested by numerous people.

Of course in its basic Cellidor/plastic handled form it can be had as low as $9 (at places like WalMart and Target - which only goes to show what good value these are) - the transulcent handled versions can be very attractive.......

But to go upmarket and more luxurious - also suggested are the Sterling silver versions -

I like the looks of the hammered finish:

The sterling versions are also available in polished, swirl, barleycorn, and basketweave. If you shop around (use froogle.com) I've seen the sterling versions for as low as $53.......

The Classics are 2 1/4" length closed - compared to the Case small pen knives with scissors at 2 5/8"

Edit: I didn't see the Case Peanut with scissors on the WR Case web site - but there are still many vendor listings - the Peanut with scissors is 2 7/8" and in mother-of-pearl it is very nice looking (I've seen prices as low as $90+)

Thanks for all of your input. I endded up getting a Victorinox Swiss Army Broker, Stainless Steel. It's small and thin, just what I wanted. It also has a small rectangle to engrave somthing if desired! I like that Case Peanut, but it's to big for what I wanted it for.
