looking for old knife info

I am looking for an old type of knife that few people seem to know about. It is a classic looking pocket knife that has a unique locking device. In order to get the blade out of it's stowed position (also locked) you have to press the sides of the handle together. The blade to release so you can open it with the thumbnail slit. The blade also locks in the open position. The process is repeated to close the knife. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "classic looking"? Bone handles with bolsters, etc.? The Gerber Paul knife locks open and closed with a patented device. Check A.G. Russell's webpage, they were just reintroduced. I might be able to help with a little more info.
Good luck,

Leo G.
