I wonder if he traded his new Porsche in on it.

yes, but this is the world he lives in:

I think there was a study done that said the avg car speed in a city is about 4 mph. I believe it. I can ride my bicycle to work in 11 minutes and be at my desk in 15. Car more near 30 min to my desk and that is less than 4 miles away and in a part of the city where traffic isn't that bad. :grumpy:

yup, unless you live in Montana or wyoming and don't mind paying fines, your not likely to enjoy that car.

and then you have to park next to all these Bozo's who have no respect for your car and swing their car doors wide open and put a nice shiner in your car's fender or rear quarterpanel

Whatever yer tryin to deliver in terms of INFI, I'll take it! :) (Well, except for War Boars and AK's, that is.) I'll even make sure you make good on his CC reimbursement.

Gimmegimmegimme!!!!!!!

I had a little Acura GS-R. Not a monster like a GT40 but still no slouch with 6.5 second 0-60 times.

But in St. Louis traffic I was just constantly pumping the clutch between dead-stop and a coasting 15 mph.

Now it's just an AWD Toyota Previa with a big Yakima rack on top for bikes and kayaks. Traffic? Just coast right along... :)

(Neither are photos of my actual cars but are simply representative of the type.)

Having a GT40 in that car soup, is like having a FBM in California....

welcome to my world-

To live in a place like that, one would have to be a reflection of your screen name!

Oh come on it is REALLY easy to find a place to let your car breathe, even in Cali traffic. I try to do it with my bullitt at least once a day :-)
