Looking for opinions on the Ontario Rat 1 D2

I am a fan of D2 and I like the simple design of Ontario folders. I have never held one but they seem to get decent reviews for the most part. However, I read one review that claims the liner lock slipped to the opposite side of the handle and another complains about the durability claiming it isn't well made.
How good is Ontario's D2? I realize it is a budget blade, but how is the f&f?
 
Hello. The RAT 1 in aus8 is a hall of fame value knife. The ergos make it one of my favorites. The lock has never failed me and I can't see a way it would while cutting. OKC runs their D2 on the soft side but we're talking maybe 2pts in a mass produced knife so results will vary. I wouldn't hesitate to try one. It is a little heavy but doable. OKC has a forum here and you may get pics and opinions there.
