looking for pants with side (thigh) pockets

Please suggest.

Interested in khaki, brown, or black, ideally cotton.

The most important thing I am looking for is that they're not baggy, but rather have the "classic" fit.

5.11 Tac Lite pro's they are great pants and the pockets are in a good configuration and the material is nice and light and nice to wear on hot days when you have to wear long pants. And they do come in Nylon and Cotton so you have your choice of materials but I recommend the Tac lite ripstop material and they do not shrink so they keep their original fit and they also have elastic waist which is nice and the edges of the pockets are also bartack reinforced to take the wear of knife clips.

Maybe PIR clothing? They offer the old ww2 bdu pants design. Simple with just those poskets pockets and no little pockets all over. Those don't look too Baggy.

I recently got a pair of Tru-Spec 24-7 pants. I like them much better than my 5.11's (YMMV).

They are very comfortable and look presentable. My wife is OK with me wearing them out to dinner. She has not liked any of my previous cargo pants; so this is a first.
