I'm looking for a good place to buy an engraved knife. I recently shot my first buck and I'd like to get a knife as a gift for my father in law on whose land I shot the deer with an indication on it of my thanks (e.g. "thanks for my first buck"). Where can I buy something like this online. Any recommendations?

These guys sell Stainless steel spyderco's, and they also offer a Knife Engraving service for $10. You can either engrave the blade of any knife or engrave the handle of one of the Stainless Spydies. They have pretty good prices too. They're redoing their site currently and may not have all the features working so u can try emailing if u dont see the engraving thing. They're great with returning email quick, and they are located in Canada and the US for quick delivery to both countries.

Check the Buck knife site (www.buckknives.com). You can design your own style Buck 110 and have the blade engraved the way you want it. I got one for myself as a retirement gift and they did a real good job, knife is well done and whole thing was around $100.
