Looking for something new with a smilar blade profile to a kershaw dwo. Ideally about 3" long, and similar or better steel

There have got to be a lot of knives that wii fit the bill. On my shelf I find the Buck 284 Bantam. It’s more like 3 1/2” with a drop point rather than a clip. Blade is under 3”. I also find aMossberg-branded lockback with a clip point.

The original for that type of lightweight design was the Gerber LST (Light Smooth Tough). It was designed by Blackie Collins and was originally released about 1980. I carried one as my daily carry for a couple of years in the 1990's. Gerber still makes them in Oregon, USA. The Kershaw is made in China. Personally, I find the full flat ground drop point more useful than the saber ground clip. The DWO blade is 2.3" long. The LST blade is 2.6" long

As Henry mentioned above, a Buck Bantam is another lightweight knife. Buck makes it in several sizes.

The clip point is one of the "required" features. It was used to crave chains and similar, and my father is a huge fan of that blade shape for that task.

Buck 112 Ranger clipped, can customize how you want at the buck custom shop, or pick up a 5160 carbon steel model from copper and clad if you're not afraid of rust, and want something tough as nails.

Mcusta Basic

Kershaw Al Mar AM3 is close, not quite "clipped", but a very pointy spear... assisted instead of manual...
