I'm looking for a knife with a pocket clip, but nothing tactical or too modern looking. Preferably no flippers. Something more toward the traditional/ gentleman side, under $30.

I know I can find knives that fit my requirements in that price range without pocket clips, it's finding one with a clip that's the issue. Rough Riders are one example. I'm considering the Kershaw Crown, but it's a tad longer than I'd like. I'm also considering the Buck Vantage and Stainless Nobleman, I'm just not sure if the person I'd be gifting it to would be very amused with modern openings and whatnot. I just figured I'd ask just in case anyone knows of anything.

Another vote for the Kershaw Crown. Nice looking, quality inexpensive blade and you could nearly buy two at $30.

The blades pretty modern but check out the CRKT Graham Stubby Razel Folder. Right that $30 and it would make a nice gentleman carry

Get an Opinel and a flea market knife. Take the clip off and drill a couple holes in the Opinel. Screw in clip.

A Svord peasant knife is a good one. It's a little big for some, though.

Assuming you add a pocket clip like wise Mr. 'Moves said.

That Razel folder is very interesting. At the moment, I'm leaning toward that one. I could mod an Opinel, but I'm not sure I want to bother with that right now. Thanks guys.

CRKT 111 Lake. Old fashioned styling, aluminum scales and brass liners (if you can find the older model). On the smaller size, and a pocket clip.

I bought one for a friend last year, I think I paid $20 for it.

The second time you've given this response for a recommendation that is not even remotely close to what the person is asking for. Why bother posting if you don't even read the OP?

I've seen SAK's with a niteize clip stuck to them. That would be a simpler mod then the Opinel one.

Traditional and pocket clip are pretty much opposing goals, imo.

Is pocket clip a must-have?

I find that lanyards allow for deep pocket carry and make extraction a breeze. Lots of traditionals out there with lanyard holes adn that would open up your options a lot. I mean by a lot.

Some Opinels with lanyards.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed.
