Looking for reviews on the 2006 edition of the Benchmade Nimravus

The version I own has a lesser finger guard and the handle scales are almost smooth feeling. Mine is a mid production I believe. I handled the new version that a friend recently purchased and the finger guard is much improved over older versions, and the new grips, to me, are MUCH more secure and lock in the hand better than before. Only thing I don't like on the new one is the sheath. I prefer the kydex one from earlier generations.
 
A nice looking knife - where can you buy that specific version? Most of the online stores photos appear to be older versions of the Nimravus.
 
I eventually found sites that sell this version. However, I also found poor reviews of the kydex sheaths on the 2006 models. Are the Molle version sheaths that come with this knife a better proposition?

I think the molle sheaths are much better. More versatile. The knife can be inserted in sheath either way, and worn left or right with no modifications. The original kydex sheaths came with a belt loop only- you had to purchse extra attachment options. The molle sheaths can be attached to your belt/gear in a bunch of differant ways. The quality on mine seems very good.

I have the older g10 handled Nim, but I have handled the newer aluminum handled ones. Definately more grip with the newer ones. I like them alot.
