Was surfing ebay a while back, stumbled upon a wrist watch that caught my eye, made a bid, and woke up the next mornting the proud owner of a new wrist watch. Was hoping someone could tell me something, about it as I know nothing about it. And sorry, no photo at least at this time, so here goes.

It is a Russian made, manuel wind up analog. Very good looking blue and white dial. On the dial is two jet fighters. Here are what the letters on the dial say at least to the best of my ability to read them. " Kauahgujackue." Does that mean anything to anyone? Been wearing it for about three months now, and it keeps very good time.

Oh, and for what its worth, the item description on the auction said it was a Russian fighter pilots watch. Not sure If I buy that or not.

The story is they weren't issued but were sold in the Soviet equivalent of a PX. The same watch is available with airplanes or a tank or a parachutist on the dial. They're good watches considering the price -- not refined mechanical jewels, but good reliable movements with reasonable accuracy for practical purposes.

"Kauahgujackue" = Komandirskie. The font is a very condensed italic.

This picture shows the same word but a different watch style. I always thought of them as Russian Timexes.

Is this watch more like it?

I do believe you have nailed it with your second link. Very similar anyway. Mine says nothing about 17 jewels anywhere, but the rotating bezel and everthing is the same. I have had a number of people comment on it.
