Looking for schrade e5 american eagle george washington to complete my american eagle series collection. Would also be interested in what my 4 knives are worth now, I have the e1, e2, e3, and e4 witch are all in the box in plastic, never used or sharpened, no scratches, in mint condition.

G'day Sheetmetalpj, they are a nice set with bright colors to their scales and handle shields and always attract interest however they dont really attract large prices in my experience. They seem to be reasonably readily available <total 12,000 sets issued> and generally in unused minty condition as they were collectables first rather than users...the Parker connection is always a tad of a downer I find on any collectable as he was known for his knife ""creativity""...with more emphasis on sales than collectability and quality although in this instance he used Schrade to manufacture rather than Japan etc..
I had 3 mint sets and something to look out for are centre pin cracks..they just appear for no reason apart from being some 36 years old now.Paperwork/boxes can have wrong names on them as well I have found...misprints at factory...
I got $250 for the last mint in box complete set with matching serial numbers on all 5 knives <$50 a piece> selling individually will usually bring more....there are also the 5 knife sets on the board issued as well where you get them all in one go...they never bring as much as they should either for the above reasons.. Hope this helps...Hoo Roo
