Looking for sheath clips

Hey y'all, I know this question has been asked a lot in the past, but I'm looking for some pocket clips for smaller fixed blade sheaths. I sent sheathmaker a message and he did not have any so that is my reason for the new thread. I'm waiting on a response from another member but in the mean time I figured I would ask and see if I got lucky.

So does any one know where I can get nice quality pocket clips to use on smaller fixed blade pocket sheaths? If you can point me in a general direction or know exactly where to go that would be much appreciated!

I have had good luck using TEC P-7 clips, but they aren't cheap. Chinese copies are cheap, but they don't hold up. They bend and loose their grip.

Do you know what the retiontion is like on those? I know Tandy has clips like that but the retention is terrible, and I'd be worried it might fall out or something.

That actually might work for the pocket sheath I'm working on now. It's a 3 finger fixed blade and those might be the perfect size for the small blade!

3 finger small fixed blade pretty much describes my knife. Here are a couple more pictures. The first sheath I made wouldn't stay in the corner of my pocket where I wanted it. It would slide into the center and get in the way. So I made a second one. On that one I put the P-7 clip as far to the edge of the sheath, as I could. It stays where I want it to, a lot better now.

I attach the clip by aligning the hole in the end of the P-7, with the bottom center hole in the patch. I then make sure to go through that hole at least twice, when sewing the patch on. I use the heavy braided nylon thread that Tandy sells. A rivet through the same hole into the patch would work too. I have been carrying this sheath knife combo in my left front pocket every day now, for at least two years. The clip is still in good shape and has good retention.

I pull the knife out by its braid and the sheath stays put. The clip holds up well and stays springy.
I actualy have one of those smaller clips here to try on a comming project. I like the fact that it is smaller. Good to read that it holds up in use.

Ordered some Tec suspension clips and a small ulti clip. Not sure what one I’m going to go with but I’ll post pictures once I’m done.

I've never used the small Ulticlips but we use the large ones often on IWB holsters. Securement is great.

Just started using the Ulticlips this year on some small fixed blades and been carrying one for two months on duty. Those things hold securely with no movement after two months of taking it out of the pocket changing uniforms daily and an addition 50,000 times showing it to people. Ok maybe not that many but a lot.

Yeah those thing stay put. Often use on of our IWB holsters and clip to the inside of my boot shaft. Its there.
