Trying to find a source for a quality smaller waterproof bag- it will be a drop-in for a backpack that will be probably getting wet on vacation at the shore. Just big enough for a checkbook, small wallet, and maybe a couple of folded papers, etc....
I've seen the large, thick bags for lotsa stuff but don't know who carries smaller ones. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Kelt--I had good luck with these folks, recommended to me by a fellow BF'er years ago:

Try "poly bags" or "zip lock" in a search--lots of possibilities here, and they have the thickest small bags I've been able to easily find.

Let us know how you make out!

Another vote for the nalgene bottles. They work really well for small things and/or first aid kits when camping or canoeing. Plus, they attach really well to bags or backpacks with a carabiner. They are most definitely guaranteed waterproof and they are very solid and durable so the contents won't get crushed either.

To keep things dry in a puncture proof container
look at.......Tupperware. ;)

Now don't flame me here:eek: I'm serious.
Tupperware (and others) make containers of all
shapes and sizes that could do the job easily. ;)

Check out Cascade Designs' SeaLine products HERE These are my favorites because Cascade Designs is here in Seattle.

Omniseal also makes some good stuff. Search www.rei.com for "omniseal" for examples.

There's also a good line sold by Brigade Quartermaster and others. I think SOE Gear or one of the other tactical nylon makers sells the bags with some of their gear.

Good luck! :)

2 ziploc bags, one inside the other.
If you want it to float, put some styrofoam balls in the outer bag.
