Okay, I've been looking around a lot. The only problem is that Spyderco has SO MANY stinking models out there, I can't quite nail down what is what. And it's sometimes hard to judge all the sizes, even looking at the specs.
basically, I EDC a Tenacious right now, I absolutely love the blade grind, ergos are good, but it could be a bit smaller. I used to EDC a Native, the size was perfect, but I prefer the flat ground blade a ton more.
The CF Native would be perfect for me, but it's too spendy for my taste. My requirements are :
Smaller than Tenacious, preferrably around the Native size, if not smaller (Edit: it's the original, thinner, s30v Native FYI)
Flat ground, leaf shaped blade
Tip up carry
relatively inexpensive
So, what am I looking at here? I'm seeing a bunch around the $100 mark, but I really don't feel like spending that on a new EDC blade. If it comes down to it I could drop that on the Native 4, but is there anything in the $50 range that meets these requirements?
