I need a small utility knife and I found the Sog Specialty Knives SCT85 Sculptura while looking around on the Web. Unfortunately, everywhere I've looked so far this knife appears to be unavailable. I came to this forum to ask if anyone here knows where I could find this knife - or perhaps one similar to it.

This would be the perfect knife for what I need so if anyone has any info I would appreciate it. Thanks.

A link perhaps? Anyway, I closed my eBay account a few weeks ago. I do not want to use eBay. Anyone else who knows where I could find this knife (or a similar one) ?

Thanks for that link, but that knife is unavailable from them as well. I know because I called the number on that site and the guy told me they are in the process of removing it from the page.

Any other place that DOES have this knife please let me know.

Thanks.

Try posting in the WTB Forum, you'll probably find someone who has one they can part with.:)
It's a very cute little knife, with a very stout blade. Here are some pics of mine to give you size comparisons.

Hope this helps.

Well, I will have my very own SOG as soon as it arrives in the mail - thanks to jthomas :)

Update: My SOG arrived the other day and it is an awesome little knife. Very sturdy and well made and I love the solid belt clip - I just keep it tucked in the back corner of my front pocket and it's handy for whenever I need it.

Hi Gang. I hope everyone had a great holiday. I found another Sculptura, but now I would like to know what sharpening stone (or stones) you guys would recommend for keeping these two little beauties sharpened?

My brother gave me some small grey stone which I have tried to use. I do not know the grit or anything. My first attempt put scratches on the blade and I have tried using it a few other times with varying results. I am definitely no sharpening expert.

Any stones or types of stones you can recommend for these little knives would make me happy. I have a large kitchen chef's knife I'd like to keep sharp as well. I looked into the sharpening "systems" but then I'm a firm believer in learning how to do a job with my own two hands.

Thanks.
