I carried traditionals long before they were called by that classification. When locking knives became more prevalent my slipjoints were sold or given away.

My favorites were always the single blade spearpoint Barlow style.

Now at 70 years old I find myself interested in getting one again.

I find that the ones I like (Lionsteel Roundhead, North Woods Everyday Barlow) are limited quantity collectibles that are bought up within hours of release. I put in a early reserve request for a Lionsteel but the next release is this summer.

Can any of you recommend a similar spearpoint Barlow that is more available?

How big? I can point you toward a plenty of Queens and Schatt and Morgans, most have clip points or sheepsfoot blades. Sending a PM with some links to some spears on a different forum...

I've picked up Cripple Creek, Schatt & Morgan, etc for very reasonable prices at shows, auction and even new old stock from dealers.
