looking for some anodizing

I have just finished customizing my trusty old BM mini-Stryker. Replaced the ugly G-10 with some natural linen Micarta, scrapped the stock backspacer in favor of a couple of stainless spacers and added some simple file work around the liners. Now to top it off, I would really like to have the liners anodized a brilliant purple. Is there anyone out there willing to perform this service for me? Should special precautions be taken to protect the ball detent? Feel free to E-mail me if you are interested in helping. Please include your mailing address and required charges. Thanks.

I have never seen stainless anodized, but I have seen it heat coloured to a dark purple. I think the temperature to achieve this is about 500 F.

George, the liners are Titanium not stainless. Thanks for the stainless tip however, never know when that will come in handy
