Looking for some feedback about how I messed up in the trade forum

Hi all!
Just looking for some clarity about a recent attempt to post a knife for trade in the trading forum.
First off, I’ve been a semi-regular member of the forums for over a decade, and as such it’s been a long while since I read the rules.
I can accept that “ignorance is not an excuse for breaking the rules”.
In my first attempt, I thought I was being helpful by including some of what I had found out about the value of the knife, just trying to save prospective traders a bit of trouble. After that post seemed to get deleted, I re-read all the rules and attempted to repost without any value info. That post also has disappeared.
Since the item never actually posted, do I still have to wait 2 weeks before listing it again?
I’m not trying to be pushy or take advantage of anything. Just want to understand the right way to proceed, as things have just disappeared without any feedback.
Thanks for any thoughts!

Did you post links to websites and prices? If so, that may be the problem as posting direct links to non-supporting dealers or websites is frowned upon.

I did mention arizonacustomknives and the range of prices that I’d seen my style go for.

I think my colleague may have some info on this. Hopefully he'll see this and stop by.

I just deleted a few unnecessary bits. I guess it needs approval again? Sorry for the trouble, and thank you!
