The new SMKW sale book has a Hen and Rooster 4-1/4 inch stockman with a stag handle, also several "Cattle Rustler" 4" stockman patterns with bone handles.
Both have what they call Solingen Steel, I assume that is a high carbon 1095, right?
Anybody have any experience with the Hen and Rooster knives with the Solingen Steel? I have an Eye Brand stockman with the high carbon steel that I really like, how would you say that the Hen and Rooster compares to Eye Brand?
