Hi, Where can I find D2 in bar stock about 1/32 thick? I remember someone saying Kovel Knives but I can't remember seeing it in their catalog before I lost it. Plus it is hard to call and order it because they close before I even get home from school(Live on the west coast).

Sincerely,
Adam

I happen to have the Koval catalog handy ... the thinnest they have is 1/8".

You could send them a post card to ask for the catalog:

I just checked Admiral Steels site and the thinnest that they have is 1/8". I don't recall ever seeing any 1/32" D2. It's kind of expensive to buy and mill down to the size you require. If you don't mind me asking, what are you going to use 1/32" D2 for?

Actually, I'm going to make a fillet knife for my friend. I've also been thinking of using talonite, as I will be buying so little it should be fairly cheap. But one question is how sharp can talonite get?

Sincerely,
Adam
