Got a ckf evo 2 today. Nice knife but it has a free spinning pivot. Was wondering if anyone knew anyone that could machine the other side for a t20 torx.

Edit: already checked local, not sure anyone around here would do such a small job without charging a ridiculous amount

That would be an impressive bit of machining. I'd love to see the finished product if anyone does it.

If no one is willing to take on the job, or if it's too expensive, another more simple and easy option might be to have a single slot cut across the pivot allowing you to use a flathead driver.

Have you tried using loctite to secure the pivot in that side of the handle?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking but I could probably do it for you. I've helped a few other guys machine a few of their knives for belt clips and the like as a favor. I only charge for any tooling that needs to be purchased, like a metric tap if I don't have one that size already for instance.
