Looking for someone to put bolsters on my Kershaw Randomtask

I was riding my bike and Jackal told me to jump the manhole and I did. Well I made it to a certian extent. I crashed on the knife grinding the G-10 down and sratching the clip. I am trying to find someone who will put Ti bolsters and carbon fiber or some kind of wood scales on it. If there is any one out there that has the capibility and know how to do this send me a message. Thanks -CL

BWAHAHAHA!!! The Great Milenko strikes again. :evilgrin: Well, I made it just fine...dunno what the hell your problem is.

Any who, remember, who ever does this mod., will have to mill out the bolster to allow for proper operation of the torsion bar. Know what I mean mang?

The great Drew Gleason is "MIA" and Mike of Total Sharp hasn't answered his email yet...AND...since Frank Recupero is sure to be busy...let alone EXPENSIVE, who's next on the great list of modification gods?

If you fell hard on a Speed-Safe in a violent accident, and it didn't open up and cut something unpredictable, you have already been blessed with one miracle.

I suspect that the only knifemaker who understands how to make a Speed Safe work right is the mechanical genius who invented it, and that's Ken Onion, and modification work might or might cost as much as a new custom knife!

I talked to several knife makers about some customizing of my Avalanche (other than G10 scales and bolsters). The work cost connected with the scale milling would be much higher than new production knife was the answer...
