I totally missed the deal Jerry posted not too long ago selling the hunter blades ground way back when by apprentices. I wanted to try and wheel and deal with someone who may've gotten a few. Here's the deal: I want one, and I'm willing to finish one for whoever sends me one, including a multicarry Concealex sheath. That's it! You send me two of the knives, you get one back with a handle and a sheath (you can sharpen it yourself, sorry).
I have lots of nice woods, the usual G-10, Micarta's (canvas, paper and linen), etc. Some wicked carbon fiber, too, but I'm pretty limited on the size of handle I can use this on (if I could get it to fit, carbon fiber may run you a couple of the blade blanks because it's so nasty). Anyway, thoguht I'd put the offer out there and see what shakes out. I don't know how often Busse sells these sorts of blanks, but I'd be willing to work with others, too, not just the hunters. Let me know!
