Always been fond of the Buck 446 Goliath and have acquired a few over the years in various conditions. Like the size and shape of the blade and it's a light and handy knife overall. Now, be that as it may I was wondering if it might be possible to remake the 446 using aluminum or brass instead of the regular synthetic frame? Not sure if it's possible but just thought an aluminum 446 would be really sweet. Anyone ever seen or attempted something like this with the 446 or any other model? Was thinking of asking Jerad about it since he did those beautiful all brass, 186 style 110's a while back, one of which I have and cherish as an uber cool 110.

Florida Dave…or maybe it's Texas Dave now if he's moved already had one in a 110 frame in his display I saw yesterday. I would say it can be done in the right hands. :)
