Looking for the "Busses" among folders!

Hi everybody!
As you might have guessed, I'm looking to expand my collection with a folder (my first "real" folder).
Problem is, I don't know much about folders, that why I need your help!
Now what I want is a very tough folder, that can withstand most abuse with ease, that's why I'm looking for the "Busses" among folders.
From what I've read so far in this forum Zero Tolerance comes pretty close to the toughness I want?
Any objections/thoughts on that?

Some things the folder should feature:
-Blade at least 3"
-Preferably all black (that's my only real struggle with the zt560)
-Solid locking mechanism, obviously
-some higher end steel (doesn't have to be INFI ;) )
-under 400$ would be greatly appreciated

So can you guys help me out here a little?

Well those last three are kind of too ...extreme.... for me.
While a strider would be nice, they are just a tad over what I'm willing to shell out.... Gotta save for a CGFBM!

I'm sure you could wait for one to come up on sale, they come up every day, in fact I believe I saw one the other day well under your limit. :)
 
What do you guys think about the VECP? Price looks just about right, but I haven't read much about this knifemaker?
