I'm not sure where I should have posted this. I bought a fine tomahawk and have lots the smiths name and address. He is the fellow the made the tomahawks for the movie _The Last of the Mohicans_. He has the name Beaver (fordge?) is his business name. I can email ya a picture of one of his hawks. First name might be "Bill" not sure now. He makes a fine tomahawk

Thanks Trashwood

Trashwood, most of knives/hawks used in last of mohicans were made by,Randall King of Ashville,NC.not positive on name, but am on location. MJH

If I remember right Daniel Winkler made some of the knives ect. for the movie. He has a web site.

If you're in the market for another hawk, you owe it to yourself to look at the pics at http://www.rmjforge.com I found their ad in a knife mag yesterday and just finished browsing their website about an hour ago. These guys forge a huge variety of French & English hawks (pipe, spike, hammer poll, etc.) and have about a month wait on custom orders. They're out of Tennessee. If you can't find the guy you're looking for, RMJ can probably make one for you from a picture or two. They'll probably be less expensive, too.

I DO NOT CHOOSE TO BE A COMMON MAN

"It is my right to be uncommon...if I can; I seek opportunity...not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stole calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud, and unafraid; to think and act for myself; enjoy the benefits of my creations and to face the world boldly and say,
This I have done, and this is what it means to be an American."
