Hello,
I'm new to the forum and after search for awhile on here I can't find if anyone has every asked this question. Is there a website out there that has all the Buck models listed from past to present? Any help would be great, because I have a few Bucks that don't have a model number.

Thank you

I've been waiting for you to build such an all-inclusive Buck Knives website. Let me know when you are finished. :)

However, joining BCCI, Buck Collectors Club Inc., gives you electronic access to legacy product pictures and information as well as other benefits of membership. Some BCCI members use the archives with great skill and dexterity to research the oldies.

If you post good photos of what Buck knives without model numbers on them you have then I bet you will know the model numbers pretty quickly.

Welcome to the forum.

My, not asking for much... Most of them have been posted by members in display photos. If you give a year, or model number or fixed blade or folder, we can find it. A description would help. Something to work on. DM

yea I kinda did the same when I was a newbie a long time ago
and many newbies like your self are desperately seeking information of all kinds on Buck Knives.
Their hunger like yours jest don't seem be quenched with jest tidbits of data.. nay
they seek a denouement to the quest for more knowledge
Many desperately ask did they ever make a...
or why that was or why not this...
or does ANY one know the reason for ....
This line of inquiry goes from simple- where is the pin to who made the tiny part that is on a ......
Many hear of obscure LE's, one off Customs or
that elusive mystical knife called a prototype ( ouuuuu )
and have such a ardent desire for information that they end up here..
Many want to know if there is one they are missing to complete a collection.
I, my self have gone through this many many times,
sick in mind and heart with Buck Knife fever and a torrid desire for more Buck Knife knowledge.

One year I went to the best source I could think of to ask for things and asked for
"The Book of all things about Buck Knives" for my self and here is what I got back:

Re: Concerning the gospel and final word to collecting those Buck Knives you so dearly love…''

Dearest 110 Dave,
I have been watching you and over heard (your soon to be wife)
Cindy telling her mom that you have been a good man this past year.
I have left most of the other things on your list and this letter is concerning the only one I can not find. …

TRULY it seems that there is NOT a consummate "Book of Buck" containing 'All the Data' on marking, dating, resurrecting what was made when and why on the nice things that have come from those incorrigible boys and girls that sub as Elvis's at Buck.
{Note I checked with Father Time and he said there was nothing in the Time Past Vault and
the New Year Baby only giggles over what is coming and wont say a word...
(Well he did say Chuck and CJ let slip that there would be some exciting things in 2013 and said jest wait tell 2014)….
but I drift...

It seems that that knowledge resides in bit and pieces in the minds and hearts of the many souls that receive or give a Buck
and a lot of it is in the hearts and minds of those buck boyz in the BCC

so Davie my friend,
I hope you continue to be a good fellow and continue to try to be kind to others and not piss any one off esp your soon to be wife as she and all other wives have direct lines to my list making elves…Most fondly yours
your friend
S. Clause.

PS: I missed them but you should check with Uncle Sam and Davy Jones they both have Knife experance.
Other wise your best bet since Vern has gone home is to gather every bit of information you come across your self
and share or exchange with your friends so you all can learn..

PSS: Ugh … would you let me know if you find out anything? It seems to come up often on my request list and... well...
I would like the information also!!!

PSSS: As you know I can only provide you with a Buck Knife once a year but IF
it is real good info I will get you and extra buck... maybe...ok?

Now that made for some great reading!!:thumbup: I know my co-workers are wondering what the heck I'm laughing at. :D

ya knows some thing... I used to post a lot of crasy stuff like this ...
you newbies look up buck tv .. for some of my best...
hee hee hee times I think of reviving that there thread...
any way
it was suggested that some felt that being so silly was not a good
way to resents the bcc ...
this year at the 25th we had a bcc board member ( Craig H. with his Cardinal Rule's)
give some very informative and extremely entertaining class on photography
which was extremely well received by all other bcc members
but some times I does comes up wit a good one... like that above
it is in this light that I posted this here...

Photography Cardinal Rules

Get plenty of the RIGHT color light

Hold your Durn camera steady

The right color light is something that gives you correct color 5500 to 6000 Kelvin. (look on the bulbs box) OR the SUN

Hold your camera steady - set it on something and use a timer or remote or buy a tripod of some sort and do the same. Even a hiking stick or broom handle used to brace the camera on as you snap will give you a better photo than just your arms and hands.

I will try get the 25th event photography program organized so it will fit on Bladeforums soon.
