I saw that in the for sale exchange. Nice knife! I sent my Sebbie to Tom today to have him thin the edge a bit.:thumbup:

congrats1 many talented folks have had that blade pass through their hands. it is truely one of a kind.

I received the knife just a few minutes ago. My first impression is that words just cannot describe how nice this knife is. OK I'll try it, but it's just not going to give it justice.

The melt job is extensive, it feels very "organic", and any place you put your hand is just perfect.

The orange peel finish has a subtle visual texture as well as a real tactile texture. The coloring is subdued and very sophisticated. Works very well combined with the texturing.

It's light in the hand, it feels like a small rather then large sebenza. I thought I knew what smooth opening was. Well, I've now been schooled. I've owned a Mayo custom, but this knife is easily twice as smooth opening. Really and truly I don't have words to describe it.

I have to hand it to spyken (James) to conceive of this and having it executed is just brilliant. Perhaps you should be a custom knife consultant! Great Job.

Worth every penny.

A lovely knife Dave and your health to enjoy it.

I could take or leave the drill holes, but I really do admire that handle rounding. Along with the extra smooth action it must be a great Sebenza to carry and use.

A rare knife and a good snag :D
