Looking iffy for Blade

Waiting on a call today from my orthopedic doctor about results of an MRI I had last week on my back. Right now the only way we will get to Blade is if the doc can
fix me up with a block or two. Can stand and walk normally for about ten minutes or so, then intense pain sets in on right leg and hip. Until today I was determined to tough it out, but reality set in today and there is really not a chance unless doc can work a miracle. Kathy and Kim are suggesting that I come alone and rent a mobility chair, but I really hate to come without them.

Question for anyone who knows: Is a rental mobility chair available that can be left secured somewhere in the vicinity of the exhibition hall at night?
 
If you talk to the people there I would think a place to secure the chair would not be a problem.
 
How about a wheelchair,it could be folded away and kept about anywhere.
 
I hope that the Doc can do his magic. Would love to see you front and center at the trough.
 
Mike,, we cant do Blade without you buddy!! ;)

If you need anything,, getting a wheel chair back & forth from hotel or whatever,, or logistics,, shoot me a pm,

Sorry to hear that Mike. My back is also why I'll be missing my first Blade in about ten years.
 
Folks shorter than 6'6" might stand a chance now:eek:;)

Maybe they can do a nerve block on your spine ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, painfree for a cpl months.
take care of business when you come home.
 
If you rent a mobility chair for the weekend, you just roll back to your room and recharge it each night. We did this at Disney two years ago for resinwife.
 
If you are not staying at the Waverly I am sure there would be people that would be more than glad to take it back and forth to your hotel.I will be there Sat morning through Sunday morning and will have my truck.
