I want to get a screaming deal cause it is a pretty big purchase but it's such an iconic and bad a$$ knife I decided I have to have one. How much is too much to spend on one brand new of course?

Through my usual online retailer, I managed to get one brand new for right about $70. It is a really great little knife, and well worth that price. Feel free to email me if you'd like a link to the product page.

not sure if I did that right. But I would like to know. I can't find one quite that low.

Are you sure you got a Harpy for that? That would be a fair price for a Tasman Salt, but the Harpy's MSRP is $150, so that would mean a discount of over 50%, which usually only happens on discontinued models. FWIW, best prices I've seen are in the mid 80's.

Not a bad price at all. I checked the order I had placed, and it was actually $76, though I now see the current price has fluctuated to $79.
