Hello everyone!

I am looking something good value Buck. Something like Buck Bantam or valox handled Bucks. I'm considering something in the line of sub 3" or 3" user for my friend. He has some cheap chinese knives and I gave him CRKT Drifter while ago, but I like him to have also good quality Buck knife too.

I'm myself interested some of the Orange/Yellow/Red handled Buck's for outdoor use. Any recomendations?

Thank you advance.

Weve all heard it a million times before, but a 110 for $30 from Wal-Mart is a crazy bargain..

Yes, but plane ticket to fly to U.S. continent and then search Wal-Mart is not ;) I have to rely Internet shops as Walmart has not landed in Europe. Atleast there behind everyones back, near the Arctic Circle.

I would definately look into the Bucklite MAX series of knives! They are a great value, and quite durable! BTW Welcome to the Buck forum!! You are a good friend!

Thank you all. I think I'll buy small Bucklite Max and I found same shop Buck 425 Mini folder for very cheap. I probably order both. With Buck's warranty I have nothing to lose. Maybe later I buy for myself medium or large Bucklite Max. I like its looks.

The Bantam 285 is just over 3" and is an excellent value. Now made in USA:thumbup: It will say USA right under the Buck on the left side of blade. So in the clamshell packs you will be able to tell if its new USA or older model chinese.

i'm sure theres plenty of members here that would be willing to ship you one, $30 plus a small international flat rate box.

For Buck 110? Heck yeah, here at the cheapest, they cost around $70 USD's+Shipping. Gotta love MSRP prices + VAT. I already have 55 comming so 110 would be natural continuation. As long PayPal is Ok, I am good to go next week. Bodydamage, you're on. you can contact me at thejamppa(at)*removethiswiththestarsplease*hotmail(dot)com ((yes excessive measures against scanner bots are not only allowed but also recomended:D)

I have to say, I love Buck forums, though I have not many posts here and only One Buck knife at (one is still in mail) but Buck-brothers in here are league of their own. Thank you everyone!

Welcome to the Buck forum jamppa!USA made Bucks use the best production steel in the industry. Most others use something like AUS8.Bucks warrenty and excellent customer service speak for their self.

skyhorse: I've heard alot good things about 420HC with Buck's magical heatreat. I have no experience of that, as my only Buck so far is Vantage Pro with S30V and Bos heat treatmen. Soon I will have few 420 HC's. I think they're not my last ones.

bodydamage. Thank you so much. E-mail received and aswered.

Edit: I just bought of net Buck 484 small Bucklite and 425 mini lockback. $30 from two light Buck knives with 4ever warranty and 420 HC blades. You have to love Buck's offering.

Maybe someday you can help me find some nice Australian made blades. I've seen some very nice Aussie custom blades in some forums.

I'm actually heading back to the US soon (hopefully) permanently, just waiting on my visa.
