Hello guys,
First of all, I apologize for the irrelevant post. I love birding and observing natural objects. Can anyone suggest me the best spotting scope for birding under $300 ? Brand name or the direct link will be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

I assume since you're asking about a scope that you already have a good set of binoculars. <300 is a tough category, but the two that stand out in the shooting world are the Konuspot 80 (20-60x) or the Celestron 80mm model (I forget the exact model name)

I own the Konuspot 80 for my competitive shooting and have used it for some birding around the house. It has a decent image, comes with a cell phone holder so you can take pics and an adapter is available for digi-scoping. I don't recommend using it for digi-scoping as it does have some chromatic aberration, but is excellent for identification. The next model up from it is the 100 (100mm primary objective) and is also weather proof. The 80 is nice because it's not as heavy or cumbersome as the 100.

If you don't have a good set of binoculars yet, I suggest the Steiner Military and Marine models. Great glasses for the price.
