Looking to buy 3"x1"x1/4" sharpening stones...

Looking to buy 3"x1"x1/4" various grade sharpening stones. Looking for any suggestions, not looking for particular stone type yet just looking for various suppliers. I need some for go bags/knife sheath pockets/pocket carry/other etc.

That's pretty close to the size of the DMT Aligner stones (with or without the jig), that's whT I'd recommend for a "go bag" but for pocket carry I'd suggest a Spyderco "double-stuff" or even the 4 piece file set or even a "golden stone".

I’ve carried a DMT D3C 3" Dia-Sharp Sharpener Credit Card sized diamond sharpener in my walled for years.

I use the coarse, which has a 325 grit. That’s the same grit size Ed Fowler recommends for sharpening his knives.

I would check out Dan's Whetstones, he owns his own mines and offers a large array of different size stones, in different grades, the high end stones are a little pricey though--be warned, but he offers a lot of stones in the size range you're talking about, either by themselves, or in a little leather pouch. http://danswhetstone.com/
