Looking to buy paracord or tough nylon cord from local store

paragon sports on 18th & broadway carries paracord. how far are you from paramus, nj? you can take the gwb to rt 17 north just past the garden state mall - ramsey outdoor & campmor have paracord. i buy mine online so i can't vouch for their quality though.
 
Surplus stores are the ticket man....

Speaking of which, this one I went to friday was charging 15.00 for 50ft of blackhawk brand paracord. Pricey!! I loved the Coyote color blackhawk does(kinda a greenish tan) but im not payin that for paracord.
 
Do you have an Eastern Mountain Sports in your area? Last time I checked the one near me, they had 50' sections of white paracord. Not the best prices from what I remember, but it might do the trick if you can't find it anywhere else.
