So I've got this Emerson Snubby that's had some lock issues. Its already been back to Ernie once. He replaced the lock, but it never again had that "New Emerson Smell". It was doing good for a few weeks, but the lock quickly began to creep again, and now, minor pressure on the thumb ramp causes the blade to slide closed a little, making a loud "click". I like the knife, but its been sitting in a drawer never to come out again until I can get it "fixed". I'm thinking it would benefit from a Ti framelock and back spacer. Anyone know where I can go for these? Seems like a lot of the guys that did these mods in the past have sort of taken a hiatus. Any help would be appreciated.

You could try tuffthumbz. Just keep in mind any framelock conversion will be quite expensive

Send it back again. I am sure that they will make it right. I have heard nothing but good about big E. and co.

Try cleaning the lock face and lock with isopropyl alcohol. It's possible some grease or other lubricant is on there causing the lock to slip.
