Looking to get a strider | Cant decide between SMF Gen2 and the gunner grip

I think the only thing that would make me decide is if strider made a gunner grip with plain silver stOnewashed blade with the ti. Grip and BLACK G10. Anyone know if they make that? I have been unable to find it.
 
I've been looking for a Smf DGG digi cam for a while, seems like the GG models are kind of scarce. A stone washed blade may even be harder to find with the GG i'm not sure though. You just have to keep you eyes on the ex and be lucky. Maybe keep looking on the different knife dealers websites. Good luck and keep your eyes open.
 
Gunner grips are kinda rare - Strider seems to be branching out with new materials and new models - both in fixed blade and folder. I don't see many new GG models hitting the e-stores.

So - when you see one you need to jump on it. You could also try to put yourself on the notification list that some Strider retailers offer - letting you know when they get that particular model in.

I have a SMF with GG and digicam blade - great knife - but it will destroy your pocket. You need to plan on getting a leather pouch for in-pocket carry or a belt sheath.

I carry mine (when I carry it) in a molle belt sheath.

The lego models are more readily available in different configurations.
 
What do you mean destroy your pocket? Like it will literally ruin your pocket? O.0 I mean at the moment I carry a sage1 e every day, and I was going to get a zt300 but thought the strider would be a little easier to carry as its smaller and lighter (although I know it's not small or light). I also usually wear carhart jeans, would it still ruin jeans?

I also just found a SMF gen2 and I love the look of it. Does it come with the titanium looking like it does in the picture with the rough finish? I really love the way it looks.
