Looking to get custom makers stamp info

I'm looking at getting a custom stamp made for my blades. I'm looking for recommendations and/or insight on what to go with. Info on approximate pricing also helps. I'd like to get a stamp of my signature "M. Propst". For those wondering, yes my handwriting is readable. I can thank my dad for making me practice my handwriting and signature as a kid.

You don't want a stamp. What you want is an etcher. The machines cost up to $200 and the most popular one is the "Personalizer Plus." The marking stencils are very low cost and you can have many different types made up. Ernie Grospitch is the fellow most folks get to make theirs. http://erniesknives.com/Etching Stencils.htm
Changes to your mark are as easy as getting a new stencil made up.

A hard stamp of a signature would be very expensive and wouldn't work well at all. Almost all marks (stamps) you see on blades are etched.

Much as you like your signature and handwriting , it is a poor mark on a knife. Some crisp letters and a location is many times better. Simple and clear is what you want.

When you are famous and people all know your name and want your autograph, then switch to a signature as a makers mark.
