Looking to ID this Boot Knife

Hey guys, hoping you can help. A friend of mine is looking to replace the pictured boot knife. Don’t know the brand or model. The knife had a lot of sentimental value and they’re hoping to replace it with the same knife if possible or at least as close as we can get. The handle was chewed off and taped. Thanks in advance folks!

Hard to tell from here. Might be a Gerber. Might be a Valor. Could be a Frost. ;)

Sorry, A--hole is in my job description(QC), and sometimes I can't just leave it at work......

Yeah, it's a couple of extra steps but with the amount of posts like this it's helpful.

I didn't recognize the knife though, looks rather generic.

There are still some NIB on Ebay usually. If you like the general design google "R W Loveless Gerber", he designed them in three different sizes - Guardian is the smallest, Gaurdian I is a 5" blade, Gaurdian II is a hair under 7" in blade.

They also made a Tanto Guardian a few years ago.

The Gryphon M - 10 is similar, and well thought of too. If you have trouble finding the Gerber, it might strike your fancy -
