Looking to identify a sword

Hello there, I'm currently in Mali and i've stumbled upon a sword i've never seen before. I was hoping to find something about it on the internet but couldn't find anything. Anyone here know what this sword might be?

The hilt is reminiscent of a takoba. I think you will find it to be a completely decorative tourist type item reflecting the Tuareg stylings.

I figured it'd be somewhere along those lines seeing as it's on the wall of an american club, and no one had any idea what it was supposed to be aside from "Local African sword"
